Centre for Management Development, Modinagar uses an optimum mix various teaching methods such as case studies, group discussions, business games, role plays, live industrial projects, computer aided instructions, group discussions, lectures, seminars, presentations by participants and talks by guest speakers from industry and government. The case method is the most widely used pedagogical tool. This sharpens the analytical abilities of participants and helps analyze problems from multi- functional perspectives. Instructors mainly guide the group, push participants to develop and defend arguments and take appropriate decisions.

Students are taken for industrial visits for a closer look at the implementation of management concepts. In teaching a conscious effort is made to enable all round development of the student and the emphasis is to mould the students to meet all round industrial and business.
