Corporate Resources Centre (CRC) acts as the backbone of CMD which aims at bridging the gap between the academia and corporate by focusing on producing highly competent and Industry ready professionals.CRC aims to create a platform where Students and Industry can come together and explore the opportunities for employment. The center strives to achieve excellence in the management education through continuous interaction with the industry. It consists of a team of highly experienced industry professionals, supported by an experienced faculty who guides in organizing various management/IT events. The regular interaction with the industry helps management students to apply their theoretical knowledge in practice. This two way interaction under the aegis of CRC enriches the CMDians to a great extent and helps them to be prepared as per industry requirements.

Corporate Resource center of CMD encompasses various events like Guest lectures, Seminar & Conferences, Industry Visits, Corporate get-togethers, Event Management, Personality Development Programmes, Mock Interviews, Research and Resource sharing and Networking. The Personality Development Programmes sessions are organized by CRC for the students, which involve career counseling and active strategy formulation to help enhance their training and Placement Programmes. The PDPs are organized to enhance the soft skills of students and provide an edge during interview.

CRC also administers Summer Internship and placement activities. The students are guided by CRC right from designing, printing of brochures to presentation in various companies and taking care of placement activities. It maintains regular contacts with the Alumni in association through a duly constituted alumni committee.

Placement Activities

Institute has an active placement cell comprising of a group of dynamic students working under the guidance and chairmanship of the Director and Placement head along with faculty members as coordinators.

The placement cell coordinates the Placement and Summer Training by interfacing directly and through CMD Alumni with the corporate bodies and organizes campus Interviews for the convenience of both the visiting companies and the students.

Placement activities at the institute commence with publishing of placement brochure and dispatching the same to leading organizations. The institute welcomes all organizations to participate in its placement programme.

Institute has three dedicated placement weeks, during the third week of December, January and February to enable the organizations to have focused attention on students. Organizations are welcome to schedule the recruitment efforts during this time with the full support of the placement cell of the institute.

If for some reason an organization is unable to schedule their recruitment and selection activities during these placement weeks of the institute, alternate slots are made available to the organizations as per mutual convenience. Placement cell will render all possible services to the organizations for the smooth conduct of selection and recruitment activities pre-placement talks, written tests, group discussions and interviews.
